Homemade veggie dumplings!
I love these! They’re easy to make and a fun way for the kids to eat their veggies! Give them a go!
1 packet Gow Gee wrappers
1 carrot, finely chopped
1 spring onion (ends only), finely chopped
3 large mushrooms, finely chopped
Handful of baby spinach, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
2-3 tbsp soy sauce (can use hoisin sauce instead)
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Add all the vegetables, vegetable oil, garlic and spring onion to a frypan and cook for 5 or so minutes until lightly cooked through.
Let cool for 5-10 minutes.
Place wrappers on a flat surface and add 1 tbsp of the filling onto one side of the wrapper. Add water to the top of your finger and line the edge of the wrapper with water. Fold the wrapper over and squeeze the sides together to seal.
Brush a small amount of vegetable oil to the base of the steamer (or baking paper) and cook the dumplings in batches for 15 minutes or until the wrappers look transparent.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
